March 01, 2002 - SIXSOUTH is off and running,
the band left York, PA today on their 3 week tour of the western
states. Having toured the East coast and Southern states in the
past, this will be the first time out to the west for the band.

you. If not dont despair as they should be headed out for
a longer tour this summer.
February 01, 2002 - Scooch Pooch proudly announces
that we are in production on a 20 year retrospective of the greatest
unsigned punk band of all time: THE SILLIES! This was the band whose
shows the members of The Stooges and MC5 would come to see. Stiv
Bators of The Dead Boys said The Sillies was one of the best bands
they ever played with. Maximumrocknroll called them "Detroit's
first TRUE punk rock band" while the Detroit News called them
"an X-rated gong show for the young and desperate". The
Cleveland Police Department banned them from the city limits after
just one show there, as did the University Of Detroit. The City
of Lansing shut down their concert a week before it happened. Their
tour of Canada with Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers resulted
in a minor case of electrocution for Thunders when he got on their
bad side.
All The Sillies favorites will be on the CD from "Sex For The
Handicapped" and "Lesbo Love" to their unforgettable
"Love You To Death". Most of these tracks have never been
available to the public and were heard only by a handful of music
business insiders.
Scooch pooch also has a very limited number of their 1994 live cassette
"Public Enema #1", which has been unavailable for years. Keep logging
on to scoochpooch.com for more details!

Earlier this year, well July 11, to be exact Frigg
A-Go-Go played the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame summer concert
series. After a scorching set at the 2001 SXSW show Frigg was
asked to go to Cleveland for the concert series. Being wooed with
wads of cash, hotel rooms filled with booze and other such goodies
how could they turn it down? And to top it all off MTV was on
hand to film. The following is an excerpt from Jeremys email
about show:
Yeah it was a pretty cool crowd. I'd guess about 500-600
people but I could be off. I'm sure MTV will make it look a lot
bigger than it actually was. I don't think most of the people
knew what to make of us. They did freak out when Ronnie shoved
his guitar down his pants. They really seemed to like that. Later
that night Ronnie got mobbed by a group of girls. I went down
the stairs and people started cheering for me which was pretty
weird. I guess that was our 15 minutes and it was a blast. I'll
try to send you a copy of the video. Like I said the camera was
right next to a side monitor so all the sound is really fucking
distorted but you can see the crowd and all of Ronnie's antics.
If we ever get that tape well
try and make bits available to download on the web. In the meantime
check out Frigg
A-Go-Gos The Winning Score LP/CD.
